The History of Haku Ryu Kai Kan
Haku Ryu Kai Kan, the “The Way of the White Dragon,” is the brainchild of an extraordinary martial artist and fighter known as The White Dragon. This system was developed after decades of extensive study across multiple karate styles, including several Okinawan styles, Japanese Shotokan, Kyokushin, and full-contact systems like Kudo.
The White Dragon honed his skills through competition, professional fighting, and real-world application during his career in executive protection, where he relied on these techniques to protect himself and others.
After years of testing and refining techniques in combat and high-stakes situations, he created 'Haku Ryu Kai Kan'—a style that emphasizes what is proven to be most effective. Sign up for a trial Kids Karate class by selecting the "Trial Class" button.
Have your child wear a comfortable outfit for exercise, or a Karate Gi if you already have one.
Arrive to the dojo at least 10 minutes before your scheduled class time.

Do you offer classes for children?Yes, we have classes specifically designed for children ages 6-11.

Do I need any prior experience to join?No, we welcome students of all levels and experience. Our classes are designed to accommodate beginners and advanced practitioners alike.

What are the benefits of practicing martial arts?Practicing martial arts can improve physical fitness, mental focus, discipline, self-confidence, and self-defense skills.

Are there any age restrictions for joining?We require students to be at least 5 years of age so they are cognitively developed enough to benefits from our classes. We do not have an upper age limit. Our grandmaster of Karate is 81 years old, and still trains to this day! We do not believe that anyone is "too old" for martial arts.

Do you offer any trial classes?Yes, we have a trial class for $40 for new students to experience our training style before committing to a membership. We no longer offer free trial classes. We reserve our classes for those who are serious about training and committing to the martial arts, so that we can maintain the quality and integrity of our training and give you and our students our best.
